At 19 years of age, Dennis Schroeder is quickly becoming a hot commodity leading up to the June 27th draft in Brooklyn. Schroeder, who measures 6'2" and weighs 165 lbs, is a native of Braunschweig, Germany. He plays best, offensively, as an attacking point guard. He doesn't have a great mid-range game, but shoots well from the outside. He has great floor vision, similar to likes of Darren Collison. His 6'7" wingspan makes him an effective defender. His defensive capabilities and long arms have drawn comparisons to Rajon Rondo. Boston has promised to select him with the 16th pick if he falls to them, but I expect Schroeder to join countryman Dirk Nowitzki in Dallas, when the Mavericks take him with the 13th pick.
